nomx Responds to Regurgitated Year-old False Claims by UK blogger

In 2017, a UK-based blogger claimed he could easily and quickly hack a nomx device. The BBC, nomx and other media requested a demonstration of this allegation, and the blogger failed to do so publicly. The blogger continues to make these claims from the comfort of the UK, where is is safe from the American legal system. We’ve put this matter behind us and our users and security community are satisfied with our disclosures and security practices.

But don’t take our word for it, take the bloggers:

From the BBC to nomx: "I understand from your replies that you state categorically that no nomx accounts have been affected by this ..... I have put your questions to [blogger] who has confirmed to me that he cannot say that any have."

Fact: nomx has never been compromised remotely, by anyone at anytime.

However, we are excited about the continued media coverage with nomx and look forward to shipping our nomx 2.0 servers later this year.

Did you know that every single major email provider has been hacked?

A typical email message is copied and replicated across more than a dozen servers. And if you've ever sent or received email through a major provider, you’ve had your network and/or communications compromised by attacks on those servers. These attacks are not isolated. They take advantage of systemic issues with internet messaging protocols, and they will continue to put your privacy and security at risk until you do something to keep your personal information off of insecure servers. nomx gives you that power.
